I always wish that the Alice and Olivia store could just be my personal closet. Their playful, modern, girly aesthetic fits so well with my style, so I was thrilled to partner with their Boston store on Newbury Street to host a summer shopping event a few weeks ago.
My best decision of the night was getting to the store early with my photographer so we could take photos before anyone arrived - that way, the rest of the evening I was able to focus on chatting with guests, sipping from cute little champagne bottles and eating macarons (complete with the Alice and Olivia "Stace Face"). 20% of proceeds from the event were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a wonderful cause I worked with in both high school and college.
For the event, I styled two pieces from Alice and Olivia's recent collections: this gorgeous flutter-sleeve crop top, which I plan to wear over and over this summer, and these amazing metallic foil high-waisted pants. I mean... I'm obsessed.
Lastly, I decided to do something a little different with my hair. Thanks to some help from Beaucage Salon, I arrived to the event with a temporary pink ombre. We used Kristin Ess's "Rose Gold" tint (you can pick it up here!) to get the cotton-candy color. After about three washes, the product was completely gone and I returned back to my usual blonde - but I had so much fun having some pink in there for a few days!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out!
