Let's cut right to the chase: there's something totally kickass for your skin that you probably aren't doing. And yes, it's that thing your Mom always told you to do.
Sunscreen. On your face. Every day.
And on your body when you're spending time outdoors. Before you shrug this off and decide that hell no, you're not going to do that, just Google the benefits - which pretty much translate to aging like Gwyneth Paltrow or Jennifer Aniston. Bonus points for avoiding skin cancer!
My favorite face sunscreen (not oily & derm-approved) & my favorite body sunscreen (smells sososo GOOD)
I'm not kidding when I tell you that it's the best beauty tip anyone could give you. There's no magic secret beauty product to keep you looking like a youthful bombshell - just sunscreen. In 30 years if one of your friends looks incredible and you're scrambling around Sephora trying to figure out how to get your face to look like hers? It's too late.
Also, since we live in such an instant-gratification world: wearing sunscreen will influence your skin now as well! It will be able to revitalize and repair when it is not forced to battle the sun (which it does even when it's cloudy).
If you don't want to look like a whitewalker... congrats! You don't have to. I did a post a while ago on my favorite fake tan (pictured above. If you need a recap: not orange, easy to apply, won't get on your clothes/sheets, lasts 1-3 weeks, looks natural AF) and I even have a new-new favorite that I'm going to be sharing with you guys soon. Just think of me as your best little faux tan guinea pig. Long story short: you can be a bronzed babe and still save your skin. Win-win.
