Girl's Best: Smoothie Recipe

Get ready because this super healthy green smoothie is about to rock your world. My sister was skeptical, since the ingredients include kale and spinach, and once I had finished making the smoothie she informed me that it looked like I was drinking pesto (true). BUT once she tried it, she was convinced (and poured herself a second glass). If you're looking for a healthy snack, definitely give this recipe a whirl: It tastes like a piña colada, makes a great post-workout drink, and is a yummy way to add some more fruits & veggies (and their nutritional benefits!) to your day.

Ingredients: (Makes ~2 smoothies)

1/2 an avocado

1 chopped banana

1 handful chopped kale

1 handful chopped spinach

1 cup frozen pineapple

3/4 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup coconut milk (or coconut water)
